Intoducing Cody, a gorgeous 5 year old boy. He is very friendly and just loves being fussed, doing the typical Akita lean to get more cuddles. Cody is a very curious boy who is interested in his surrounding, sometimes taking time out just to look at something new. Although Cody is gentle and takes treats carefully, after sitting and giving paw, he is somewhat protective of food and toys. He walks well on a short lead, but tends to run and pull on a longer one.
Cody loves human company, and approaches people in a friendly and confident way. He enjoys meeting new people, especially if they have treats or cuddles for him. He is exceptionally clean in his kennel, waiting several hours to go out, rather than dirtying his kennel. He does not chew or destroy anything. Cody would be best placed in an Akita experienced home with no small children. He is untested with cats or dogs, so would only be rehomed as the only dog. Cody is currently in Tyne and Wear and is 5 years old.
