Lexie is a female, 2 year old German Shepherd cross Collie, medium sized, short haired, black & tan in colour. She is currently in the Nottinghamshire area. Lexie is a quiet, shy girl that knows basic commands. She is currently not spayed so this would have to be done within 3 months of adoption in accordance to Cefni Gsd rescue strict neutering policies. She is however microchipped and vaccinated. Although Lexie is currently living with another dog she can be very shy and nervous around them, so we would suggest a quiet submissive dog or for Lexie to be an only dog. We are told that she is fine with cats.
This shy girl needs bringing out of her shell to release her potential and that special family to give her some time and patience. Due to her shyness and nervousness we would suggest older children that are dog savvy. She is also scared around traffic so this would need working on, perhaps training/socialisation classes. In the right hands this girl will make a fantastic addition to a family, who will in return show you boundless loyalty and affection.
