Introducing a very special akita named Stripe! This gentle, sweet loving girl finds herself looking for a forever home as she was left unclaimed from the pound. Stripe walks well on lead and does not pull but tends to move in a zig-zag fashion but a headcollar should help with this. She is a very sweet and excitable and never asks for much and simply enjoys the easy calm things in life. Stripe does have arthritis in her back knees but is currently not requiring regular medication although this may change as she gets older. Because of this short but often walks suit this girl best. Her knees do not seem to be troubling her at present and more information will be given to anyone considering giving this gentle lady her forever home.
Stripe could live with a calm male pending successful introductions. She cannot be rehomed with young children or cats. She is fully vaccinated and microchipped and just waiting for her forever home to come along!
