Introducing the amazing Arian a stunning female Akita of just 2 years of age. Arian arrived with us as an unclaimed stray from the council pound, after a short stay in kennels, Arian was lucky enough to be offered a foster home to wait until she finds her new forever home and she has proved herself to be a complete sweetheart, fitting into the household almost immediately. Arian is living alongside an older resident male Akita, there have been no issues although Arian does like to keep her food close-by when he is around. There is also a cat in the home which she is completely disinterested in, even more so since the cat decided to show her who was boss and attacked her, gentle Arian did not react in any way to this.
There are two young children in the foster home who Arian adores, she is very gentle with them, taking treats nicely and also listening to the commands given by the oldest child. It would be beneficial for Arian to be rehomed where someone is around the majority of the time or with a male companion to continue to build her confidence as Arian can get anxious when left alone, we will not be looking to rehome her where she will be left for more than 3-4 hours.
Arian walks lovely on the lead, travels well in the car and is housetrained. She is very quick to learn and as she is food oriented this makes training so much easier, she will sit, give paw and lay down on command. Arian is an extremely affectionate girl who bonds easily with family members, she is very relaxed in the home and loves to be with her family.
