We just love to pamper our German Shepherds. Just like these equally gorgeous GSDs Mila and Malu. So how do you pamper your GSD? Thanks to Kehaulani Punilei for sharing
Did you know…
Pampering our German Shepherds is about more than the usual visit to the groomers or adding some ribbons to their hair. True pampering means ensuring that your dog is healthier and happier for the long run. Here are some pampering ideas:
Have a dog day. Dogs love to spend time with us, and there is nothing more fun for them than spending the day outside. Pick a nice day to bring them to the beach or the park. Spend the day playing with your pooch. This will not only make him happy but is also a great way to keep your friend active, fit and healthy.
Try a massage. Try getting the service of a certified pet masseuse. This will not only make your GSD feel good but will aid in alleviating muscle strains and pains. Just like in humans, a good pet massage can help release toxins, and activate the lymphatic system. If you’re on a tight budget you can give the massage yourself after knowing how to do so.
Replace worn-out pet stuff. Over time, your dog bed gets flattened and worn out. Worn out beds can’t hold your dog’s weight evenly, which could result in pain for your dog particularly if your pal is large or a senior with bone problems. So you can pamper him everyday by getting him a new and comfortable bed. You may also get him some new quality chew toys and throw away the old ones.
